Very rare British bayonet for artillery carabine M1853. Typical for this bayonet regimental markings. The crossguard is made out of steel and resembles early French yatagans. The scabbard is not original probably – it should be steel. It has been manufactured in less then 10000 pieces mainly by Reeves. There is also a variation with finial of the crossguard swept forward like in later British designs.
