Description
Really rare shortend version on British Martini-Henry M1887 Mk3 bayonet. It is official conversion performed in 1911 and marked by Skennerton I40. In most known exmples the lockets and chpes are made of brass, here are steel.Most conversion were made in Ishapore factory. It bears original British markings. In this case the scabbard is constricted and does not accomodate the blade.
