Quite special bayonet. It is eeither 1886 2nd pattern or 1887 MK 1. Most MK 1 were converted 1886 – the conversion consisted of removing of the “lip” from the hilt side of the ring, removal of the muzzle from the ring. More then 20000 were converted. This one seems to be not completly converted. Distinctive features on 1887 MK 1 are fullered blade and external leaf spring. In BCB it is B205.
