Description
Experimental bayonet for Meunier A6 STA 8 semiautomatic rifle finally tested in 1912. Then WWI stoped introduction and development of semiautomatic rifles and new 7mm. Finally some Meunier rifles 7mm had been manufactured in 1915 or 1916. Probably a little above 1000 rifles and bayonets had been manufactured in Tulle.
In 1917 and 1918 new semiautimatic rifles were introduced, using standard 8mm ammo.
